]]>The IMPROVED mobile research infrastructure was deployed, evaluating technologies such as MABR, GAC, UF, IEX, MPPE, and RO. Despite extensive testing, no treatment combination successfully met the target level for Total Organic Carbon (<1 ppm). Mini-boiler experiments revealed that the treated water generated more organic acids than Dow’s current feed water, rendering it unsuitable for reuse.

With an impressive R² exceeding 0.94, the model accurately predicts mass transfer coefficients, achieving an overall prediction accuracy of 0.99. This breakthrough promises real-time monitoring and operational optimization, revolutionizing the cooling cycle in chemical plants.
