He joined the Electricity Authority of Cyprus in March 1979 and he has left the company in December 2013 from the post of Executive Manager Networks. He is as from December 2013 the Chairman of the Research Centre "Sustainable Energy" of the University of Cyprus.
He is a member of the Steering Committee of the European Technology Platform SmartGrids, a member of the Steering Committee of European Technology Platform PV, a substitute member of the Board of Directors of EURELECTRIC, a member of the DSOs Committee of EURELECTRIC, the chairman of the Research Centre Sustainable Energy of the University of Cyprus and chairman of CIGRE Cyprus.
