Previously, Chief Security Officer and Country Leadership Team Member of BT Italy (British Telecom Group) and Head of Security & Safety at Fastweb Spa (Swisscom AG Group). He also founded and led the Forensic Technology & Discovery Services (FTDS) practice within the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) of Ernst & Young (Italy and EMEIA Western Zone). For many years CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) of Poste Italiane and cybercop of the Antifraud & Cybercrime Team of the Italian Financial Police (Guardia di Finanza) of Milan.

He was one of the member of the team that arrested the first Italian virus writers (2001 and 2003) and carried out the first investigations on phishing and money laundering in Italy (2005-2006).

President of the Italian Chapter of IISFA (non-profit association that gather together specialists in digital forensics), Adjunct Professor in cyber security and digital forensics for some universities, he is a speaker in various technical-specialist fora and also the author of numerous scientific publications on cybersecurity , cyberintelligence, digital forensics, Compliance, Privacy, IT risk management, IT audit, cyber crime.

In 2020, he filed for an international patent on cyber security in the IOT/ICS and SCADA fields.

After more than ten years has as a Sales Account in the IT System Integration field with a specific focus on the world of logical security. The reference market has always been that of Enterprise Organisations, in particular Central Public Administration. In recent years, the professional activity has increasingly moved towards issues related to Cyber Security through collaboration with various national and international companies including:Akito (Co-Founder), Panda Security (Key Account Manager), Innovery (Key Account Manager) and DeepCyber (Sales Manager).

Qualifications and training: Degree in Communication Sciences, specializing in Marketing and Business Communication. Graduated in Global Marketing through Master's degree at ICE Brussels and European Parliament.

Ilenia Mercuri

Human Factor, Security Awareness, and Reputational Intelligence Manager

Ilenia is the leader of:

- the activities of "Human Factor" assessment and development, with a focus on cybersecurity threats of the human element, through innovative techniques of social engineering, gamification & simulation (for example phishing campaigns, spear phishing, cyber games, etc).

- the reputational intelligence of brands, companies, managers, and 3rd parties on surface/deep and dark web (also social media security analysis), for supporting management decisions about risk and cyber risk posture.

Honorary Fellowship in “Security&Information”, Department of Law, at “Università Degli Studi di Foggia”.

"Cyber criminologist", with 2nd level University Master's degree in Forensic Sciences (Criminology, Security, Intelligence, Investigations) at “La Sapienza” University (Rome) and thesis on social engineering, mind hacking, and spear phishing.

Previously psychologist, psychotherapist, and specialist consultant in behavioral addictions (eg pathological gambling, emotional addictions, compulsive shopping, etc.) for several years.

Massimo Corvino

Cybersecurity Manager - Special Projects 

Project manager in DeepCyber's special projects in cyber security and cyber threat intelligence.  He has a technical background acquired working as an expert analyst in cyber security and network security and has been SOC coordinator for important companies in the sector. He has worked mainly in the Financial, Defense and Telecommunications sectors.

He’s specialised in Cyber Security Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence Techniques and Incident Response.

Umberto Coia

Cybersecurity & Vulnerability Manager

In his more than three-year career as a CTO, he has carried out countless infrastructure projects for complex Data Centers, using almost all technologies from Mainframes to digital, Sun, IBM, Oracle, VMware departmental systems. He has designed both local and geographical networks with a particular focus on the security and protection of systems using all the tools and methodologies that have been introduced and refined over time. He coordinated systems and production groups optimizing both management processes and operational effectiveness. During recent years, deepened the operational side with a specific focus on processes mapping and optimazation (using both BPMN and EPC).  It has also, in the field of compliance, directed and conducted audit campaigns on both ISO 27001 and AgID compliance. For business continuity, he has been able to use his expertise in designing infrastructure to carry out assessments of Disaster Recovery plans. He conducted countless Hw/Sw selections, drawing up technical specifications with the relevant evaluation criteria.

Among the many courses he has taken, it is worth mentioning: ITIL V3 Foundation rel. 2011, ISACA - Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM®) and Introduction to Business Project Management.

Subject Matter Expert in Information Security & Data Protection with extensive and documented experience in the application of National, European, and International Regulations in various business sectors. CISO and Privacy Officer for big and medium companies.

Consolidated experience as Project Manager, she has managed and led global and regional Compliance Audit assignments and ICT Security & Compliance Governance projects for national and international companies in the Banking, Insurance, Defence, Automotive, Healthcare, ICT & TLC Services and Public Administration sectors.

Integrated Management System Expert and Senior Assessor on ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, 22301, 20000, 9001, 14001, 37001, SA8000, PCI DSS, SOX, COBIT, ITIL.
