Enlit On The Road – Portugal

Portugal’s energy transition is a story of ambition and innovation, fueled by a pursuit of carbon neutrality by 2045.

Already boasting one of the Europe’s highest ratios of renewable energy, Portugal is aiming for 80% of its electricity to come from clean sources by 2026. But Portugal’s green energy vision extends beyond established renewables, diving into the realm of marine energy, a nascent field brimming with potential.

Innovation doesn’t stop at the water’s edge. Portugal is investing in the potential of green hydrogen and smart mobility. Enlit on the Road will visit Lisbon, Seixal, Alqueva, Porto and Viana do Castelo as we explore the energy transition in action.
