As a senior member of the Enlit World and Power Engineering International media teams, my ear is always to the ground for energy-related news and insights. And let’s be honest, the energy sector has never held so much interest or so much purpose for those who work in it.
My background in Social Anthropology has always inspired me to explore my passion for people, their stories and worldviews. It is a privilege to continue this exploration through the Energy Transitions podcast series, which magnifies the future energy landscape through the lenses of remarkable professionals.

Heather is Director of Initiate, Enlit’s programme for innovators and disruptors, as well as next-gen talent. She has been involved in the energy field for 20 years. First as a Publishing Editor at a STEM publisher and subsequently as Chief Editor & Publisher of Power Engineering Internatinal, and Director of conferences and exhibitions in Southeast Asia and India. Heather is passionate about energy and sees the necessary transition to a low-carbon, sustainable and just energy system as one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh.
