CB200, A VALUABLE MULTI-FUNCTION DEVICE FOR REMOTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OF PUBLIC LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS

CB200 is the compact LUMINIBUS industrial computer designed to be installed inside the electrical panel to which the lighting rows are connected.

It is able to collect and store the data collected from the streetlamp or from the switchboard and to react to the instructions received from the control centre, to which it belongs, in order to trigger the consequent reaction on the streetlamps and/or on the switchboard.

The CB200 can be supplemented with one or more accessory modules to increase its functions; modularity makes it possible to optimise the remote control project by enabling services only if they are necessary and consequently the relative costs.

CB200 can communicate with the control centre in different ways depending on the manger's design choices and the opportunities available in the place where it is installed.
REMOTE CONTROL OF SWITCHBOARDS

REMOTE CONTROL OF SWITCHBOARDS

CB200 stores the service plans, previously configured by the manger and/or modified through the IOTeqa platform, and applies them to the switchboard so that it, in turn, performs the actions established by the manger (e.g. on/off period of the lighting rows).
The CB200 commands the switchboard to switch on and/or off the rows of streetlamps connected to it at the times laid down in the service plans thanks to its integrated astronomical clock.  It also performs the same service in response to commands received from the control centre or, if present, in accordance with information from other local sensors (e.g. twilight switches, traffic sensors, etc.).

In the absence of alarm states, the CB200 collects and stores the information gathered from the measurements it constantly takes on the switchboard; cyclically, depending on the configurations chosen by the manger, the CB200 transfers this data to the control centre.  Here the manger, via the IOTeqa platform, carries out the remote control activity in the same way as for streetlamps.

If completed with the network analyser accessory, the CB200 is able to monitor the performance of the electrical panel in which it is installed thanks to the measurement data it obtains.  It is therefore able to highlight problems of failure to switch the electrical panel on or off, as well as the possible presence of abnormal consumption, inefficiencies and, above all, ground leakage current that make the electrical system unsafe.

DATA CONCENTRATOR

DATA CONCENTRATOR

When, by design choice of the manger, the streetlamps are equipped with LUMINIBUS PLC controllers, CB200 is able to communicate autonomously on the PLC (powerline) with them and obtain, in response, information on their operating and/or service status which it can store in its mass memory for a long period, ready to be communicated to the control centre.

Similarly, the CB200 can host and store incoming data from IoT sensors that are not able to communicate autonomously with the control centre, and to do so they use the LUMINIBUS controller closest to the place where they are installed.
MANAGER OF MULTI-NETWORK COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONTROL CENTRE

MANAGER OF MULTI-NETWORK COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONTROL CENTRE

The CB200 can communicate with the control centre in different ways depending on the design choices of the manager and the opportunities available at the site where it is installed. It is equipped with an Ethernet interface to connect to the data network if available, or it can be completed with one or more accessory modules to enable it to communicate over GPRS, 3G, 4G and/or LoRaWan.

In addition, when some steetlamps and/or IoT sensors are enabled to communicate via PLC through the appropriate LUMINIBUS controller, CB200 can send them the commands received from the control centre and return the reaction data to the latter.
